What exactly is going on here?

Is it creative baby fashion? I don't know. I think it might be Connor'south version of sleeping with one leg exterior the covers.

I walked in her room the other morning and found her awake similar this in her Pack 'n' Play, bright-eyed and ready to go. Information technology was equal parts weird and hilarious at the same time.

Connor is seven one/2 months quondam now, which makes me a footling emo, considering pretty soon she will have been in the outside world longer than she was in my tummy.

A lot has happened in the "Learning the Ropes" section lately. She said her kickoff word not long agone: "mama."

Wha!? I know. I high-fived a one thousand thousand petty angles. Both of united states of america thought she was going to say "dada" outset because of how obsessed she is with him.

Oh, and she can crawl now, sit down up past herself, and she does this coy over-the-shoulder pose (I think she learned information technology from Tabs).

She is And then obsessed with Tabs, also. I call back that she thinks she'due south a cat, considering whenever she hears Tabs meow, she meows right back at him. Mind y'all, it's not a full-on, throaty meow (due to her limited babe vocab, obvs). It'southward more of a loftier-pitched, exploratory kitten meow ("Mmmmmmah!"), but she tries, though!

She's ever reaching out to pet and take hold of him, and Tabs plays along. He's the almost patient cat in the earth, you guys, because sometimes she plays a little rough (she is a babe, after all). He lets her rub his haunches, impact his cheeks and scratch his head between his ears. Of form, I'm always supervising just in case.

Happy Caturday, my friend! How are y'all? What are you up to? I'm heading to the salon in a piddling while to get a quick bang trim. Practice you have any beauty errands you have to run or anything similar that? I hateful, I have to do some regular errands, too, like grocery shopping, and I want to go to Price Plus to get these stackable bowls for my mom and dad that look similar oversized mugs.
